PSAA has a statutory duty to prescribe a scale of fees for the audit of accounts of bodies that have opted into its national auditor appointment arrangements. Before prescribing scale fees, we are required to consult opted-in authorities, representative associations of relevant authorities and bodies of accountants.
We welcome comments from audited bodies and stakeholders on the proposals outlined in this document. The consultation closed on Friday 6 March.
