Audit Contract Monitoring Report
We produce an annual Audit Contract Monitoring Report under the Appointing Person arrangements. It covers three key areas including adherence to professional standards, contractual compliance and effective relationship management.
The report for the 2024/25 audits will be published in Autumn 2026.
Client survey
As part of our contract monitoring arrangements we undertake a survey of opted-in bodies to obtain feedback on their audits of accounts.
For the 2024/25 audits we will issue the survey shortly after your auditor has given their opinion. If your audit opinion is given in September or October 2025 you will receive a survey during November.
We encourage you to provide open and frank feedback; all responses are treated confidentially unless you give us your permission to share them with your auditor. The survey recognises the importance of the auditor’s relationships with both Management and Those Charged With Governance.
The results of the survey will be published in Autumn 2026, following the 2024/25 audit backstop date.
