PSAA has published its Business Plan up to 31 March 2025. It covers who we are, what we do, and how we will continue to carry out the role of the Appointing Person through the delivery of a programme of work over the next two years.
Local Audit as a sector is facing significant challenges and there are many uncertainties about the future. Uniquely we have relationships with both auditors and opted-in bodies, which means we are often the first to identify emerging issues. Our plan sets out the active role we will take in supporting efforts to address the challenges to move towards a local audit system which is more stable, more resilient, and more sustainable.
Recognising the future uncertainties, we will keep our plan of activity under review and where necessary respond to emerging issues and developments within the local audit system.
