The consultation on the proposed fee scale for 2026/27 audits will close on 9 October 2026. We held a webinar on 28 September to support our consultation process. The aim of the webinar was to explain the elements of the proposed 2026/27 fee scale and to provide the opportunity to ask questions. 

We have published FAQs on the 2026/27 consultation on our website.  

Bill Butler, Chair of PSAA and the Local Audit Office (LAO), led the event. In the second part of the webinar Bill and the LAO team provided an update on the development of the LAO. 

The event was aimed at s151 Officers and Audit Committee Chairs (and equivalent).
